![]() If you took a Shieldbreaker in position one, then a SECOND Shieldbreaker can work here too. Both can deal with crystals when needed, both have decent AoE potential, and both can apply bleed. If you don’t have the DLC or your Flagellant is going walkabout, then a Hellion is a great alternative, as is the Highwayman. He is also very self-sufficient thanks to a very powerful self-heal, and he can even mess around with Stress. He deals incredibly high Bleed damage and can apply it across the board without batting an eye. ![]() If you have access to The Crimson Court DLC, then the Flagellant is the best choice here. This will apply decent Blight whilst also piercing his Protections during his second phase. Not playing on radiant would mean you do not get the higher xp or the ability to run the same team though multiple darkest dungeon levels.A fun alternative would be to take a Shieldbreaker with Pierce and Adder’s Kiss and use her to dance between positions one and two. Adding more free gold does nothing to speed the progress because you will be waiting for resolve xp. If you level 4 full teams you will gain way more heirlooms and gold than you can spend. Here's an old save file I found where I was on week 11 playing radiant in a single team challenge: What radiant does is much more useful in that it lets the actual game progress faster by leveling up your heroes and locations faster and even letting you run a single team through the entire darkest dungeon. Adding more gold with cheats will not make radiant faster. It is not easier enemies, it is just faster progression. The way you speak about it it is unclear if you know what radiant mode is.
